In this role, you’ll prepare accurate and timely estimates for mechanical projects, work closely with vendors and project teams, and help us win and deliver successful bids. Key Responsibilities Identify and track bid opportunities. Attend pre-bid meetings and job site visits. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and requirements to create accurate cost estimates. Perform takeoffs, labor calculations, and material pricing. Submit bids on time and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Track and analyze bid outcomes (won/lost). Assist with project handoff, procurement, and change orders. Maintain project files and estimating records. Support project teams with scope or technical questions. Qualifications 7+ years of experience installing mechanical systems (commercial/industrial). At least 1 year of estimating experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Journeyman Plumbing License or certification required. Strong knowledge of plumbing/piping systems and construction processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; QuickPen experience a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contracts.
