Job Summary We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator who can accurately determine material requirements and costs for commercial project take-offs. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with analytical skills to deliver precise estimates while supporting our project team’s success. You’ll work with blueprints in our estimating software that will be on each of our job sites during the construction phase. Key Responsibilities Calculate precise material quantities and costs from construction drawings and specifications Perform detailed takeoffs for commercial flooring projects Research various flooring products and contact vendors when needed Collaborate with Project Consultants and Project Managers to ensure estimate accuracy Handle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail Provide timely and accurate information to support team objectives Required Qualifications Strong analytical and math skills for accurate material calculations Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Professional written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivated with proven critical thinking skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to concentrate for extended periods while meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications 2-5 years of commercial flooring estimation experience Knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods Experience with flooring estimating software (particularly Measure) CAD background What Sets You Apart Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures Strong customer service orientation
