Job Description
- Detailed oriented and possess a thorough knowledge of structural steel detailing practices and all applicable AWS and AISC codes.
- Must have experience with Tekla 3D software. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawing, including production of shop drawings and erection plans.
- Ability to do miscellaneous steel including ladders, hand rails, roof frames, etc. Always checking the accuracy of drawings produced by self and/or others.
- Must have extensive knowledge of commercial building codes and regulations. Will be in management of multiple projects and associated drawings and RFI’s.
- Self motivated person who can communicate with project managers, other detailers, engineers, erectors, etc. (If required) and work well with others.
- This a full time permanent position. Interview will be scheduled immediately.
