$35-$45 per hour, with potential performance bonus We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely electrical estimates for conveyor and material handling projects.
- Analyze project documents, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and requirements.
- Utilize EBM estimating software to generate detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Evaluate costs of materials, labor, and equipment to determine project expenses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and analyze historical data to improve estimating accuracy.
- Participate in bid meetings and presentations as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
- Proficiency with EBM estimating software is required.
- Experience in the conveyor or material handling industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Estimation or related field preferred.
