Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for producing accurate, detailed cost estimates and supporting the preconstruction process. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and experienced in residential construction.
Responsibilities:
Create accurate, detailed cost estimates for residential construction and remodeling projects Coordinate the creation of accurate blueprints and preconstruction documents Review project plans and specifications Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals Identify and account for all labor, material, and equipment needs Ensure estimates are completed on time Contribute to cost efficiency and bid accuracy goals
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator or Project Manager in the construction industry Strong understanding of residential construction materials and methods Proficiency with estimating software and tools Excellent math and analytical skills Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Highly detail-oriented and organized Strong communication and teamwork skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
