Woods Air Movement has one of the largest certified axial ranges in the world. The US division of this global company is growing quickly in Emergency Tunnel Ventilation & smoke extract buildings applications.

Main Purpose of Role:

The Inside Sales & Technical Estimator is key position within the team contributing to delivering our strategy for profitable growth within the Axial fan markets in American & Canada. To produce quotations and tenders for a portfolio of customers and our representative network. Reviewing customer enquiry requirements, dealing with internal departments in both the UK & USA and suppliers to collate the technical information, preparing all necessary quotations and tenders as well as following up on quotations issued to customers and representatives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business Actively engage with prospective customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to promote products Provide customer support to respond appropriately to all commercial requests on behalf of the department and company expectations Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or CRM to provide detailed information about products. Ensure all enquiries and quotations are professionally handled and processed in accordance with company policy using the Woods – CRM Microsoft system Fully review the technical requirements contained within customers’ enquiry Identify potential leads through inbound inquiries or by researching the market Liaise with Suppliers regarding non-standard items required to meet customer requirements and retain records, lead times, technical details and costing Co-ordinate & verify Fan selections with UK Engineering team or other support functions Provide high level of service to customers, answering any general queries & technical guidance required on a daily basis Maintain accurate costing method for all quotations issued, ensuring non-standard products are clearly defined and available to manufacture Manage the quotation pipeline using CRM, working with the Sales Team and local representative for converting orders placed on the company

Additional Duties, Responsibilities & Measurements:

Provide customer services support to the local Woods Rep network and end users Complete sales visits to either our existing sales representatives or end customers Host online virtual training sessions with the sales representatives network Support the local team when requirement with the project management of small to medium sized projects through our Microsoft AX Dynamics systems

Person Specification/Profile:

Highly motivated, the candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent commercial skills or abilities developed within a manufacturing environment Ability to create accurate quotations and costing reports appropriate to each project requirement. Good Interpersonal skills, being comfortable and able to communicate effectively at all levels from customers, suppliers and internal departments Good lateral thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good prioritisation skills Fully conversant in Word, CRM, Excel and Outlook Strong inter-personal skills, proven track record of working within teams and liaison with clients An experienced administrator, well organised and capable of working quickly and accurately under your own initiative in a busy office environment Experience of working in a sales office environment, with knowledge of HVAC products This job description is not regarded to be totally exhaustive of all duties and activities required of the role.
