Project Estimator/Office Assistant Finchum Sports Floors LLC Sevierville, TN 37876 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in industry-standard software .Construction estimator Construction cost estimation requires individuals with specific temperaments and skills.
These include technical skills:
Construction estimators need to work well with numbers and computers so they can provide accurate construction cost estimates. Must be able to read blueprints and specifications. Answer phone calls and other office duties. Responsibilities Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Utilize construction estimating software. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more precise estimations. Prepare detailed reports summarizing estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing changes, and industry standards. Answer phones, clerical duties. Experience Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with cost control measures and techniques related to construction projects. Proficiency in using construction estimating software.
