Full Job Description Location:
Memphis, TN We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator with roofing experience
Responsibilities:
(including but not limited to) Estimate, compile bids, and generate proposals accurately and on time Make site visits to collect bidding information and/or from Plans/Specs for new/re-roof projects, when required Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price Review/prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures with essential overall cost accuracy Participate in pre and post-review project meetings Complete project closeout documents Cultivate customer relationships that will assist in winning profitable repeat business Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the entire project from start to finish Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of commercial roofing & roof coatings estimating experience Advanced knowledge and understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers’ requirements for warranty Proficient with database estimating digitizer computerized estimating software (Edge Software experience is a Plus) Must be a motivated and a “self-starter” with a professional appearance Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situations Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Must be team-oriented
