Responsibilities:
Collaborate during the Preconstruction Phase.
Read and Interpret Construction Plans and Specifications. Mentorless experienced Estimating staff on the daily duties required tomanage a construction project effectively. Work with your Team’sexisting Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors toestablish long-term relationships to identify and obtain futureproject opportunities. Oversee the Subcontractor and Vendorprocurement by supervising the completion of the buyout, scope ofwork review, contract writing, insurance, bonding reviews, etc.
Guide the research and recommendation of resolutions to drawinginterpretation problems, conflicts, and errors. Manage the Teamthat processes all Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Proposals, OwnerBillings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings,Monthly Reports, etc. Ensure the preparation of timely OwnerBillings via verifying work-in-place quantities/billings fromSubcontractors and Suppliers. Verify the production of accuratemonthly cost projections, which forecast total estimated costs atcompletion. Oversight of creating and monitoring Project Schedulesand production of progress updates. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegrees in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, orrelated field preferred.
