Role:
Floortek is growing fast and we’re looking for hardworking Installation Helpers to join our team. As an Installation Helper, you’ll assist our Lead Installers with prepping, applying, and finishing high-performance concrete floor coatings. Responsibilities:
- Assist lead installers with surface prep, crack repair, and coating application
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Learn and develop skills for advancement into crew leadership roles
- Travel to and from job sites daily (local)
Requirements :
- Valid Alabama Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a physically active role
- Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Background check and drug screening required
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in construction, coatings, flooring, painting, or related trades
- Knowledge of grinders, rollers, sprayers, and other coating equipment (a plus)
- Experience mentoring or training others is a plus (not required)
