FIELD SUPERVISOR

Availability to relocate. Help with living expenses available depending on experience The primary component of this role is to supervise the day and/or nightshift cleaning teams in performing Floor care and cleaning duties and associated tasks and is expected to be fully involved and hands-on. Work will be performed in accordance with the Company Policies and within the framework of existing schedules.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience as Team Leader Supervisor or similar role. Floor care, commercial cleaning, post construction cleaning knowledge. Knowledge and ability to assist with Field Specialist tasks associated with floor care of any type of floor from Stone, Terrazzo, VTC Tile, Vinyl, Carpet, and wax floors. Knowledge and ability to operate a Side by side, Wetvac machine, burnisher, ride on, walk behinds, shampoo machines etc. Knowledge and ability to apply wax or Iron coat. Cleaning/Housekeeping Experience. Bilingual- English/Spanish. Computer Skills- Excel and Word are a must. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Organizational and leadership abilities. Communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills Physically fit – the role requires walking, lifting, bending, and other physical abilities. Have own transportation and a valid driver’s license Must have experience scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing floors.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership to housekeeping team members to perform duties following stablished procedures in the cleaning of the facility assigned and assist in providing guidance about the standards required for Hospital EVS staff while being fully involved and hands-on.
• Monitors floor maintenance work like commercial cleaning, post construction, waxing, floor care of any type of floor like Stone, Terrazzo, VTC Tile, Vinyl and Carpet, burnishing and others.
• Provide communication between staff and management for effective operations.
• Monitor Floor care and housekeeping team members schedule, job completion, absence, lateness.
• Create and share reports daily.
• Understand proper methods and use of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment in a medical setting as well as use of machinery for floor care purposes
• Sustain a sterile environment in all areas by detailed terminal cleaning, especially counters, beds, doors & doorknobs, etc. Making beds, replenishing linens, and maintaining floors in housekeeping positions.
• Coordinates and maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Reports any building hazard and assist in addressing it.
• Maintained a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
