Flooring Installer Swampland Handyman Gainesville, FL 32608 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with experience in various types of flooring materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including residential and commercial spaces. Duties Install various types of flooring materials, including LVP, hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet. Prepare surfaces for installation by ensuring they are clean, level, and free of debris. Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut and shape flooring materials accurately. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine layout and installation requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Perform floor care tasks such as buffing and finishing concrete surfaces as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress. Experience Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role in the construction industry. Familiarity with remodeling projects and the ability to adapt to various job site conditions. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to flooring installation. Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus. Experience working as a maintenance person or carpenter is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
