This is an emerging market with a great company and lots of future advancement opportunities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to details, team player and will be performing manual labor that is physically demanding for 8 to 10 hours a day outside in Florida. Experience in construction, landscaping, golf course maintenance, carpet installation, concrete, flooring, excavating, and customer service is a plus! Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
Must be Pro-Active, Accountable, Honest and have a great work ethic to fit in with our team. The ideal candidate will work well with others, be detail oriented, willing to learn and punctual. You will help install Artificial Turf / Synthetic Grass throughout the Central Florida area, mainly Tampa Bay area but might be some travel within Florida. Installation and maintenance of synthetic turf, including preparation and excavation Daily loading and unloading of equipment and materials onto truck(s) for projects Wash and prep equipment as directed by crew lead, helping on site and at our yard Assist turf installation crew with various duties such as; shoveling, raking and running wheelbarrows Follow directions of supervisor for daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite May be called upon to run power tools such as a sod cutter or plate compactor Dig, spread and level construction material Experience required using hand tools and small equipment effectively Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times Turf base work is similar to that of pavers, so any experience with base work is encouraged We will train anyone who is willing learn and become part of our team Requirements /

Work effectively with peers of differing background and knowledge Punctual, courteous, reliable, and responsible Professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public at all times Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties Detail oriented with pride of workmanship Lift, push, pull, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies in excess of 50lbs Have dependable transportation to travel to and from job sites or yard Available for up to 10 hours a day and can work Saturdays as needed Stoop, stand and bend for 8 hours or more a day Must be 18 years or older and be legally allowed to work in the United States with valid Social Security Card and Clean Driver’s License Ability to speak/read/write in English (Spanish a plus) Use tools such as; carpet knife, carpet chisel, measuring devices, motorized plate compactor, sod cutter, pressure washer, etc. a plus Previous related experience in construction field preferred
