Flooring Installation Technician GarageExperts of North Atlanta Gainesville, GA 30501 OUR COMPANY Are you tired of working for a large organization and getting lost in the numbers? Located in North Georgia and not in downtown Atlanta. GarageExperts installs high performance epoxy coatings, full flake coatings, and metallic floors in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces utilizing specialty equipment and proprietary products. We also offer custom cabinetry for garages, slat walls, and overhead storage solutions. We are locally owned and nationally backed. JOB DESCRIPTION
Our floor coating installers are critical members of our team. They are responsible for the onsite installation that ultimately creates the top-notch, high performance flooring solution that our customers have come to expect. This position is essential to the organization and our installers are highly valued team members.
This position includes:
Completing hands-on, technical projects Working in conjunction with other team technicians and support personnel Problem solving and troubleshooting Assist with installation labor of high-performance concrete coatings, including epoxy coatings, full flake coatings, polyaspartic coatings, metallic floors, and other concrete related work Assist with installation of cabinetry and indoor storage solutions Assist with loading/unloading of flooring equipment and materials in company vehicles to prepare for job sites and unloading at end of day Operate floor grinders, hand grinders, commercial vacuums, multi-fuel generators, and other hand and floor tools commonly used in the installation and repair of concrete floors. Mix chemicals to the manufacturer’s instructions and apply them to concrete surfaces with prescribed tools. Use company software to preview and manage assigned jobs, make job notes as needed electronically, use job work order, and correspond with owner throughout the workday via electronic communications. Be able to take before and after photographs of job sites and submit them electronically for customer files and social media. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Pass a background check. Have reliable personal transportation to the office and job sites. Keep a flexible working schedule and be able to commit to projects with advance notice. Installation training provided. Previous experience in either concrete coatings or cabinetry is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must hold a regular driving license and be able to arrive on the job on time. Applicants must be able to travel as needed for various jobs. Applicants must have a warm, friendly, service-oriented personality. Applicants must be high energy! Applicants must be self-motivated, hardworking, and advancement oriented.
SCHEDULE
Expected hours: 20-35 per week now with opportunity to have more hours Flexible schedule 7-9-hour shift Day shift only Monday to Friday Weekends are the exception
