Floor Specialist Universal Facilities Maintenance, LLC Hickory, NC 28601 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Flooring Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floor care and maintenance, ensuring that all flooring surfaces are clean, well-maintained, and presentable. This role is essential in providing high-quality environmental services within commercial settings, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike. Duties Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of various flooring types, including carpet, tile, and hardwood. Execute buffing and polishing tasks to maintain the appearance of floors. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Collaborate with the custodial team to ensure all areas are kept clean and organized. Monitor floor conditions and report any damage or necessary repairs to management. Utilize proper cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for floor care. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
