Do you have past experience as a General Manager in flooring or related industry? Well, this opportunity with CSM Flooring may be right for you! CSM Flooring in the Greater Triad Area, is recruiting a General Manager to support and further develop a phenomenal team of salespeople, administration, and warehouse/installation professionals. This role will work closely with each of these roles while strengthening and growing our customer/client relationships. You’ll love that we are: A growing, Family Forward NC Certified Business operating since 1977. A total flooring source, providing all types of floorcovering from our extensive showroom – from carpet, LVP, hardwood, rugs and runners, and tile. Passionate about adding value and building long-term relationships with our customers. Our motto is “Inspired design. Trusted service.” Have an awesome team and systems, with three locations and centralized support team to help make all of our team members’ lives easier, such as marketing, administrative support, and other people resources. We’ll love that you are: An experienced, progressively successful, flooring professional with 3-5 years in the industry (required). Have a history of leading or managing others and are ready to join a winning team! Have broad exposure to various aspects of flooring, including sales, account management, installations, and repairs (logistics, pricing, and customer service). Communicate and collaborate well with others – both on-site and off-site – as well as all sorts of retail, builder, and commercial clientele. Passionate about continuous improvement, aligning with our vision for being “the best at what we do” in a competitive marketplace.
Our GM leadership role:
Is vital to our Triad area operations, being a “go-to” for day-to-day operations Assists the sales team with continued training, and (as needed) clients in need of professional guidance in selecting flooring and tile Builds strong relationships with our customer base and vendors, developing long-term satisfied customers Operates as one of our local subject-matter-expert in all things flooring Ensures all of our customers have a first-class customer experience
The Work Schedule:
Our Triad area operations are 730-5. We are not open on Sundays or holidays. Our sales team works at least 40 hours per week, modifying their weekday schedules to cover rotating Saturdays in the showroom. Comp and Benefits:
