Floor Technician (Temporary) – Ft. Bragg Position Available In Harnett, North Carolina

• MISSION:

• SUMMARY:

• Perform Floor Technician duties in an efficient and effective manner. Reports to the site leadership team.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform specified floor custodial work according to time schedules which may include:
• mopping floors
• polishing, stripping, and waxing floors
• shampooing carpets
• May be required to move furniture when performing floor custodial work
• Maintain supplies and equipment under established procedures
• Perform other specified floor custodial tasks as requested

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Six-month experience with floor care work
• Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years’ experience with floor care work preferred

• Good communication skills (e.g., able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints

• If required to drive, a current drivers license and clean driving record required. May be required to drive the personal vehicle during work hours. Not all individuals will have to drive for this position.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Tasks are regularly performed inside without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes)
• Will need to use any personal protective (safety) equipment as designated properly and consistently
• Involves exposure to hazardous materials (i.e., cleaning solutions and bio-waste hazards)
• Required inoculations and training provided by the company
• Some tasks may be performed independently with little supervision.

Requirements will vary depending on the assigned tasks. This position does require the following: repetitive lifting, push/pull, carrying, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and prolonged standing. Will involve lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.
