Assistant Installer – Epoxy Floor Coating Spartan Floor Coatings Ocean View, NJ 08230 About the
Role:
Spartan Floor Coatings is looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work side by side with the business owner to complete floor coating installations. No experience in epoxy or polyaspartic flooring is required — we’ll provide on-the-job training. If you have a background in handy work or general labor and enjoy working with your hands, we want to hear from you! This position starts part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and project demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and installing floor coating systems on job sites. Safely operate hand and power tools. Follow instructions and learn techniques from the lead installer. Maintain a clean and organized worksite. Help load and unload materials and equipment. Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Qualifications:
Experience in general handy work, construction, or similar physical labor. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a specialized trade. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Positive attitude and ability to work well with others. Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarity is a plus.
