The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel for projects of varying durations.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and refinish hardwood, engineered, and specialty flooring in church settings Prepare surfaces by removing old flooring and ensuring subfloors are level Measure and cut materials with precision Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Travel to job sites, sometimes requiring overnight stays Complete projects according to specifications and timeline Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
2+ years experience in carpentry or flooring installation Knowledge of different wood species and flooring materials Proficiency with measuring, cutting, and installation techniques Experience using circular saws, routers, sanders, and other relevant tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, kneel, and stand for extended periods Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as projects require Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Serious applicants only.
