This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes. Assemble window units and perform door hanging tasks with precision. Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Apply caulking to seal windows and doors effectively, preventing air leaks. Conduct trim carpentry work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of installations. Install fixtures as required, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Perform drywall work as necessary during the installation process. Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements accurately. Lift heavy materials safely, adhering to best practices for manual handling. Skills Proficient in heavy lifting techniques, capable of handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Experience with assembling window units and hanging doors. Strong skills in caulking, ensuring airtight seals around installations. Familiarity with using power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns effectively. Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques for finishing touches on installations. Ability to install various fixtures with attention to detail. Competence in using hand tools for precise measurements and adjustments.
