As a Window Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of various types of windows, ensuring they are fitted correctly and meet quality standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities Install windows according to specifications and building codes, ensuring proper alignment and sealing. Assemble window frames and components using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform caulking to ensure airtight seals around windows. Fabricate custom window solutions as needed based on project requirements. Conduct door hanging tasks as part of overall installation projects. Collaborate with team members to execute construction painting tasks related to window installations. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, and fastening materials. Read blueprints accurately to determine installation requirements and dimensions. Engage in frame carpentry as necessary for proper window fitting. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process. Qualifications Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to window installation. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans. Knowledge of caulking techniques and materials used in sealing windows. Familiarity with cabinet installation processes is a plus. Ability to perform basic construction estimating for project planning purposes. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
