Glass/ Window Installer Job Description The primary responsibility of a Glass Installer is to ensure the proper installation of windows and skylights in homes and commercial buildings. For quicker response email resume to (Kgraf@aerotek.com) Responsibilities Study blueprints and building plans to become familiar with the specifications of each project. Use tools to cut and shape glass to fit frames precisely. Check that glass is properly aligned and straight during the installation process. Assemble and install metal and wood components used to hold glass. Fasten glass in place with clips, moldings, and other components. Seal windows with putty or weather seal. Inspect completed work to ensure it is free of defects. Comply with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations and building codes. Why work here?
