The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions using various tools and machines. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications. The Cutter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently. Duties Operate cutting machines and tools, to cut materials according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to determine cutting requirements. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure precision in cuts. Fabricate components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on cutting equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in hand tools used in cutting processes. Strong understanding of basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations. Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications. Experience with logic controllers is a plus for optimizing machine operations. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
