Window Treatment Installation Technician About Premier Blinds and Designs Premier Blinds and Designs is a locally trusted provider of custom window treatments, known for exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service. We design and install high-quality blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies for residential and commercial clients. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our professional team. Position Summary As a Window Treatment Installation Technician, you’ll be the face of our service team—responsible for expertly installing window treatments with precision, care, and professionalism. Your work ensures our products not only function properly but also elevate the spaces our clients live and work in. Key Responsibilities Install blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies to exact specifications in homes and businesses. Conduct on-site assessments and pre-installation checks. Use hand and power tools safely and accurately to mount window treatments. Ensure finished installations are secure, functional, and visually aligned with design expectations. Provide courteous, knowledgeable support to clients during the installation process. Maintain clean, organized work areas and company vehicles. Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times. Communicate issues or discrepancies promptly to the project manager. Stay informed on product updates, installation methods, and industry standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude; confident using hand and power tools Accurate measuring and basic math skills Attention to detail and high standards for workmanship Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments Professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting Flexible schedule; must be available to travel to job sites as required Why Join Us? $25.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
