The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with expertise in handling glass materials. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine specifications for glass installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting glass materials. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installations. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work. Experience Proven experience as a Glass Technician or similar role in the construction industry. Familiarity with cabinet installation and general maintenance person tasks is preferred.
