Full Job Description Window Treatment Installer :

Window Works Studio is an established window treatment company with an in-house workroom, fabricating custom, luxury window treatments and bedding. We are growing and need to expand our amazing team of Interior Window Treatment Installers. The ideal candidate needs to be solution-oriented with exceptional attention to detail. They must have a willingness to learn new techniques and methods. Great communication and organizational skills will be essential to work effectively in our fast-past environment. A minimum of 1 year experience is preferred, however training will be provided. This position requires a clean driving record and the ability to use your own vehicle with capacity to transport products to and from the warehouse and jobsite. There is the opportunity to have a company vehicle with tools provided. Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with the office assistant to schedule and confirm installation appointments.
• Follow the direction of the design consultant for the placement of the window treatments.
• Install window treatments, including soft and hard treatments, according to standards set by Window Works Studio, Inc.
• To respect the client regarding the care of their property. This includes careful moving of any items and wearing “booties” over shoes to prevent tracking in any dirt. Being on time and being as quiet as possible during the installation.
• Use of ladders and scaffolding as needed. Lifting drapery, shades, blinds and shutters. Weight up to 50 lbs.
• Continue to learn the best installation practices and new products are developed.
• Photograph work at client sites once completed.
• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
• Experience with general repair and home maintenance
• Experience in the use of drills, various wall anchors, and saws.
• Willingness to use a ladder.
• Strength to carry heavy bolts of fabric and completed projects.
• Attention to detail.
• Professionalism is essential as this position is client facing.
