The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, showers and storefronts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision. The Glazier will also be expected to collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality results. Duties Install and replace glass in windows, doors, showers and other structures according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and installation requirements. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing glass. Assemble frames and supports for glass installations. Perform caulking to seal edges and prevent leaks. Conduct repairs on existing glass installations as needed. Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks. Handle heavy lifting of glass panels and other materials safely. Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with hand tools used in glazing work.
