Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Glazier Installer Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the installation of a variety of glass products, including but not limited to: Shower doors Mirrors Window glass replacements Commercial storefronts This is a full-time position with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance your career with Samson Glass.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead glaziers with installations, ensuring precision and quality. Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other tools. Load and unload materials and tools at job sites. Handle and transport glass safely to prevent damage or injury. Communicate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Simple math skills. Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Active listening and effective communication. Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong team collaboration skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Comfort working in various weather conditions and job sites.
Experience:
No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. However, familiarity with tools and construction environments is a plus.
