We’re seeking experienced local commercial glaziers for upcoming work in the Knoxville area. All hires will have to pass and background drug screening. If you have commercial glazing experience and are interested, complete the pre-work survey: The work will require a strong attention to detail, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Responsibilities Install glass in windows, doors, and other fixtures according to specifications. Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions using appropriate tools. Secure glass panels using adhesives, clips, or other fastening methods. Collaborate with other construction professionals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Utilize power tools effectively for cutting and shaping materials. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installations. Qualifications Proven 4 years of experience in glass installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations. Proficient in caulking and using power tools safely and effectively. Strong skills in blueprint reading to ensure precise measurements and installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
