• Overview
• The HVAC Service Helper is responsible for completing basic tasks that require physical labor on large commercial mechanical and plumbing construction sites.
• Responsibilities
• + General construction clean up + Assist in material distribution + Assist mechanics installing HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing + Learn code requirements + Maintain a safe and secure work environment and attend safety meetings + Load and unload building materials to be used in construction + Operate or tend equipment and machines used + Follow construction plans and instructions
• Qualifications
• + High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Ability to communicate on all levels. + Must have adequate/reliable transportation to the jobsite daily. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. + Versed in the industry and the Company-s competitors. + Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. + Plumbing & mechanical experience. + Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind + Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles + Climbing stairs. + Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces + Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers + Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another + Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds + 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
