Insulation Installer Needed – Cleveland, TN Position Available In Bradley, Tennessee

BASIC FUNCTION

All duties related to the installation of residential and commercial insulation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs batts of insulation in walls and ceilings
• Performs prep work including foam and caulk, fireproofing, baffles, wind tunnels, stuffing windows, filling joist spaces, etc
• Installs blown-in and/or spray in insulation
• Installs poly or other vapor barriers
• Responsible for loading, unloading, safety checks, and basic maintenance and care of trucks
• Assists as needed in warehouse, including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading
• Completes required paperwork which includes: 1) time worked, 2) footage installed, 3) material loaded on truck, 4) material used, 5) material returned to inventory
• Maintains cleanliness of warehouse in accordance with Tindell’s safety and administrative policies

Required Qualifications:

1. Skilled Communication and team building traits.2. Previous experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required.3. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.4. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.5. Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines.6. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.7. Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required.8. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and building codes related to insulation.9. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including tape measures, cutting tools, staple guns, and blowers.10. Ability to interpret blueprints, construction plans, and insulation specifications.11. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in confined spaces.12. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to achieve high-quality insulation installations.13. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the insulation installation process.14. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and homeowners.15. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
