You will play a vital role in the collection, sorting, and processing of scrap metal while ensuring that our yard remains organized and safe. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and sort various scrap metal materials with precision and care. Safely operate essential yard equipment after completing proper training. Keep the yard clean and well-maintained, contributing to a safe working environment. Adhere to safety procedures and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Provide excellent service to customers and assist co-workers with loading and unloading needs. Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor to support team operations. Requirements Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and safely handle heavy materials. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions is essential. Previous experience in a labor or yard role is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team are necessary. Must have a reliable mode of transportation and live within a commutable distance.
