The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on construction sites and utilize various tools and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience will determine pay rate. Duties Utilize power tools and machinery such as press brake machines to shape and form metal parts. Assemble metal structures by fitting components together according to shop drawings and specifications. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the construction site. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in fitting and welding structural and miscellaneous steel items including: columns, beams, straight run and caged ladders, railing, stairs, etc. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficient in using measuring tools. Experience operating power tools and machinery relevant to metal fabrication. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
