High SchoolResponsibilitiesA Senior Crane Technician provides expert-level maintenance, repair, and inspection for all crane types.
Diagnose & Troubleshoot:
Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using schematics and specialized tools to resolve complex malfunctions.
Repair & Overhaul:
Execute intricate repairs, including major component replacements, structural fixes, and system overhauls (winches, booms, hydraulics).
Inspect & Certify:
Conduct thorough safety, frequent, and periodic inspections. Perform load testing and certification to regulatory standards (OSHA, ASME). Document all findings meticulously.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and industry regulations. Identify and mitigate hazards.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Guide and train junior technicians. Lead complex projects, sharing technical expertise.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage. Utilize CMMS for reporting.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with crane technology and safety best practices. Recommend and implement process enhancements.
