Seeks 1 fabricator in Orange Park, FL to verify conf. of workpieces to specs., using sqs., rulers, & measure tapes.
Position, align, fit, & weld parts to form complete units/subunits, following blueprints & layout specs., & using welding torches & hand tools.
Set up & operate welding machines. Tack-weld fitted parts together.
Remove high spots & cut bevels using hand files, port. grinders, cutting torches.
Mark reference points onto floors or face blocks & transpose them to workpieces, using meas. devices, sqs., or chalk.
Design & construct templates & fixtures with hand tools.
Hammer, chip, & grind workpieces to cut, bend & straighten metal.
Straighten warped or bent parts, using sledges or hand torches.
Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills.
