Fitter Position Available In Duval, Florida

• Structural Fitter
• _Position Overview_ We are looking for an experienced Structural Fitter with solid experience in structural assembly, fitting, and welding.

This position involves preparing, cutting, fitting, and tacking a variety of structural components, selecting the right tools for each task, and ensuring all work meets precise tolerance standards. _Primary Responsibilities_ + Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and structural/isometric drawings. + Cut, prepare, fit, and tack structural materials such as HSS box tubing, angles, wide-flange members, and flat plates. + Utilize tools including torches, air arc cutters, plasma cutters, grinders, power saws, and hand tools to prep materials for welding. + Install structural hangers, supports, and braces from temporary setup through final installation. + Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts using proper rigging techniques. + Supervise and guide the work of two or more helpers. + Complete quality control documentation in line with SEA Quality Standards. + Adhere to all safety, health, and company policies and procedures. + Perform occasional sedentary tasks such as computer work, training, and job site inspections. _Required Qualifications_ + At least 4 years of experience in structural fitting. + Skilled in tack welding and blueprint interpretation. + Strong knowledge of structural systems and fitting tolerances. + Proficient in working with various structural materials and shapes. + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
