Iron Worker DPS Industrial Group, LLC Jacksonville, FL 32218 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Ironworker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, of structural steel frameworks and other metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, technical drawings, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Fabricate and assemble metal structures by using MIG welding. Operate cranes and forklifts to transport materials and equipment safely on-site. Utilize power tools effectively while adhering to safety standards and codes. Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Skills Proficient in MIG welding. Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings. Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to ironworking. Ability to use various power tools effectively in construction settings. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
