Randstad is looking for sanders and finishers for an established and growing manufacturer on Jacksonville’s Southside. You will work Monday through Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm. You will work with a team to finish custom wood products through sanding and hand tools. Other duties will include loading/unloading materials, inventory, and other general warehouse duties.

salary:

$17 – $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM – 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Sanding, finishing, custom products.
Using hand tools.
Fits prefabricated wooden parts together.
Trim & smooth parts to fit, using handtools sandpaper.
Inserts screws or dowels in predrilled holes, and fastens parts together with screwdriver, glue, and clamps.
Installs hardware, like hinges, catches, and knobs, on assembled products. The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time Skills
