Scaffold Builder – All Levels Position Available In Duval, Florida

Scaffold Builder – All Levels Strickland Supplies Inc 8355 Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville, FL 32211 Able to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Manager with proficient knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations. Assist in the shipping and receiving of material for E&D jobs and maintenance of all company owned equipment. Full time positions available at 40 hours a week Monday through Friday with overtime required as needed. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and have reliable transportation. Requirements:

Scaffold Competent Persons Training OSHA 10 in Construction a plus Scaffold building experience 2+ years Use of scaffolding equipment: frame and systems Valid driver’s license, experience driving truck with trailer Able to read blue prints/plans and compile equipment take off lists a plus Capable of leading and directing scaffold climbers a plus Able to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights Able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs. Able to operate a variety of forklifts and be able to obtain an operator’s card Must be able to gain clearance to access military bases and schools Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Highly organized Safety oriented Must be physically able to work in different weather conditions Some Night/Weekend work required, occasional out of town jobs
