The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components, as well as installing and repairing ship structures and equipment. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and diagrams, understand basic mathematics, and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual who is committed to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Use welding and cutting tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts. Install pipe systems, pumps, valves, and other components of ships. Perform maintenance and repairs on ships. Perform quality control checks on all work performed. Maintain a safe working environment.
