Job Description As a 1st Class Structural Fitter, you will play a crucial role inour client’s fabrication facility. Your primary responsibility willbe to apply your extensive knowledge of Industrial StructuralFitting, Assembly & Welding to build integrally complete erectionsystems. You’ll work closely with blueprints, job specifications,and various measurement tools to ensure the accurate constructionof large industrial structural steel systems. Your day-to-day activities will involve cutting, prepping, fitting,and tacking various structural components, from small to largesizes, using different material types. You’ll be expected to adhereto specific fit tolerance requirements and prepare metal surfacesfor welding processes. This role requires a strong structuralaptitude and problem-solving skills, as you’ll be responsible forcompleting daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety,and health regulations. Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, andisometric and structural drawings
• Cut, prep, fit, and tack structural components such as HSS boxtubes, angles, W-members, and flat plates
• Ensure all work adheres to true-plumb-square standards andspecific fit tolerance requirements
• Select, measure, and prepare metal surfaces for welding usingvarious tools and techniques
• Install all forms of structural system hangers, supports, andbraces
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts while following saferigging practices
• Direct and monitor two or more helpers safely andefficiently
• Document all quality reporting methods per company qualitystandards
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safetyrequirements
• Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits Required Experience/Skills
• 5+ years of related experience in Industrial StructuralFitting
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, job specifications, andstructural measurements
• Experience with threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging,plasma cutting, and gas arc cutting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to followinstructions
• Basic math and language skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Physical capability to perform essential functions of the job,including standing, walking, and using hands frequently Nice-to-Haves
• 6+ years of experience in Industrial Structural Fitting
• Tack Welding ability
• Vocational technical training Education
• High school diploma or equivalent (inferred based on requiredbasic math and language skills) Pay & Benefits Summary Paid weekly: $26
