General Accountabilities takes raw materials and turns them into finished products by cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metal. read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine product specifications and dimensions. use various power and hand tools, such as grinders, saws, and drills, to shape and cut metal pieces to fit specific designs. use specialized welding machines, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal parts together into finished products. operate and maintain equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and safety. assemble jigs and fixtures to hold and support the workpiece during the fabrication process. will cross-train on additional equipment such as hydraulic roller, shear, plasma table, or press break. maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Job Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
2 or more years of experience with fabrication and welding or equivalent combination of education and experience Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required
