Structural Steel Erector JC Machine Works 5700 NW 32nd Court, Miami, FL 33142 Overview We are seeking skilled Ironworkers to join our Fabrication and Installation Group. The candidates should have a strong background in Structural Steel Components, Metal Work and Construction with the ability to read blueprints. As an Ironworker with JC Machine Works, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation and erection of structural steel components for Road sand Bridges, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met on every project. This position will include work in the shop and work in the field. Duties Shop Assemble structural steel components and metal frames. Field Erect structural steel components and metal frames. Rig materials and steel structures safely for assembly, transport, installation and erection. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications. Utilize various tools and equipment to accomplish the tasks. Collaborate with other construction professionals in the shop and on-site, to ensure efficient workflow. Skills Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Experience with construction site operations and safety practices. Familiarity with equipment for bolting, welding and rigging.
