Responsibilities
Brasfield & Grie is currently accepting applications f a Drywall Mechanic. Below are the main responsibilities f this position. Brief Job Description (This descriptions may not include all duties required of this position):
Install metal framing, metal backing, hollow metal frames.
Install fire taping, prep gypsum wall assemblies f paint/texture, install cner beads and mise drywall accessies.
Cut metal wood framing and trim to size, using cutting tools.
Fit and fasten wallboard drywall into position on wood metal framewks, using glue, nails, screws.
Install hizontal and vertical metal wooden studs to frames so that wallboard can be attached to interi walls.
Read blues other specifications to determine methods of installation, wk procedures, material tool requirements.
Must ad to safety protocol, and wk in a drug-free environment.

Knowledge of rated assemblies required
Experience of blue reading preferred
