Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Finishing Technician to perform wet sanding, buffing, and polishing surface preparation duties on marine tower structures. This role is responsible for cleaning, smoothing, and preparing quality paint surfaces using power or hand-operated buffers and grinders to ensure optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate buffing and grinding equipment to remove surface imperfections from marine tower components. Inspect work surfaces to ensure all contaminants are effectively removed. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition, report defects as necessary. Collaborate with coating management to ensure work schedules are met. The job requires physically demanding tasks, including lifting to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures, including the use of PPE and fall protection systems. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience in marine or automobile surface preparation. Familiarity with abrasive tools, buffer wheels, angle grinders, and safety harness systems.
