Steel Worker Zion Metal Work LLC Orlando, FL 32835 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steel Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. As a Steel Worker, you will play a crucial role in constructing and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Operate welding equipment including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to join metal components. Perform pipe threading and soldering tasks as needed for project specifications. Build and assemble metal structures using various techniques, ensuring structural integrity. Work with sheet metal to fabricate components according to design specifications. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance. Execute machining tasks, including operating a press brake machine for shaping metal parts. Conduct plasma cutting for precise cuts on metal sheets and components. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in steel work or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly FCAW, is essential. Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, sheet metal work, and machining processes.
