Job Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Metal Fabricator for a Sheet Metal Distribution company located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:
- Prepare, fabricate, and weld various metal constructions, components, and structures.
- Work from blueprints to make metal parts and assemble components.
- Operate power saw, drill press’s and shears to fabricate metals according to specifications.
- Utilize a forklift to move sheet metal to and from truck beds.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred but not required.
- Ability to consistently life 50 lbs is required.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabricating.
- Experience using hand tools, bench press, drill press, and shears..
- Knowledge of and experience with various types of metals required.
- Ability to utilize Calipers and Micrometers are required
