We’re looking for dedicated Structural Steel Fitter to contribute to our shop fabrication operations. We specialize in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and work on projects in the Atlanta area and across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:

Should have a strong understanding of structural steel blueprints. Fit parts and assemblies to the appropriate location within specified tolerances. The ability to cut, prep, fit and tack small to large; HSS box tubes, Angle, W-members, Flat Plate, etc., from various material types The ability to properly select, measure, hand dress, score and cut with torch, air arc, plasma, grinder, power saws, hand tools, etc., as necessary to prepare metal surfaces. Understand directions and follow instructions. Works overtime and/or weekends as requested. Tack welding and some minor welding on an as-needed basis. Performs other duties as assigned. Have a good attitude, work ethic, and contribute to positive shop morale Perform general housekeeping/clean up in assigned area Move material using gantry and/or jib cranes

$40,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
