Iron Worker Parallel Welding Services 3505 Cypress Ave, Saint Gabriel, LA 70776 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of metal structures, ensuring that all work is completed according to industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of structural steel connection, blueprints, knowledge of bolt sizes, reading a tape measure, and the use of power tools, Duties Read and interpret blueprints, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Assemble and install metal frameworks, girders, and columns for buildings and other structures. Operate various power tools safely and effectively during construction tasks. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards throughout the construction site. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently. Perform routine inspections of equipment and materials to maintain quality control. Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements. Requirements Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, strong understanding of steel connection. Experience using power tools safely in a construction environment. Knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to ironwork. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks on construction sites.
