Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. in the Greater New Orleans, LA area isoffering challenging and exciting career opportunities forStructural Steel Fitters. We are seeking qualified candidates thatare focused on project success and exceeding customer expectations.
Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listedbelow safely and follow all of the company’s safety procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Activities may include but are notlimited to putting metal parts together to create a finished sheetor structural metal project. Use of tools such as jacks, pry bars,hammers, saws, welding equipment or torches and files or grindersto fit the parts exactly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Constant lifting,carrying, standing, walking, stooping/crouching, reaching,grasping, and twisting. Frequent climbing, and kneeling All aspectsof vision are required – acuity, depth perception, and field ofvision. Ability to talk and hear is very important forcommunication with supervisor and co-workers on safety andoperational matters.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE
Preference given tocandidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of structural steel fitterswork experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
